As part of my third year QU-0370 Inorganic Chemistry Course I thought it would be nice to ask for a very short paper on the style of a news blog webpage.
The instructions for my students were simple:
A one-page blog on a representative chemical element. Based on the style of “In your element” from Nature Journal.
It must be completely original and creative, intended for a general public, but at the same time rigorous, and it must include bibliographic citations.
Here are some selected works… Students had a lot of fun and learned in the process.
I should do this more often in my courses, don’t you think?
